About Jill Flint-Taylor
Dr Jill Flint-Taylor is a business psychologist who specialises in assessment, leadership and resilience. Her experience includes leading organisation-wide consultancy projects for governments, top-rated investment banks and other multinationals. She also designs and facilitates leadership and resilience workshops, and provides coaching for senior executives and leadership teams. In her work with leaders she places particular emphasis on helping them to manage their impact on levels of morale, engagement and performance. Jill is a founding Director at Rusando Ltd.
Resilience programmes: since the early 1990s, Jill has been involved in the design, delivery and evaluation of resilience-building interventions for the workplace. Examples for financial services clients include resilience workshops for a major investment bank, two leading multinational insurers, and the UK’s largest retail bank, as well as resilience modules for a financial adviser induction programme. Proven business results of this approach include increased sales, better risk management, improved client satisfaction and employee engagement. Proven benefits for individual participants include higher levels of morale, wellbeing and personal success.
Psychometrics and online tools: Jill has also been responsible for the development of a range of psychometrics and online tools. This includes the Robertson Cooper Five-Factor personality questionnaire and the associated Leadership Impact and i-resilience profiles (i-resilience is a free personal resilience profile that has been completed by over 30,000 people in the past 3 years).
Clients (long-term contracts/major assignments): financial services – wealth management, investment banking, global custody, commercial and retail banking, fund management, insurance; other multi-national companies including pharmaceutics and technology; the NHS; the Cabinet Office and other Central Government Departments in the UK; the Government of Singapore. Jill also provides support to leaders and teams working in emerging markets and on assignment in conflict-affected regions including Afghanistan, Sudan and Nepal.
Qualifications and research: Jill has a PhD in the psychology of executive selection and development from King’s College (University of London). A full-time practitioner for many years, she maintains an active involvement in scientific research, most recently through her role as an Associate Faculty member and Research Fellow at Ashridge Business School. She is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist (British Psychological Society) and a Registered Practitioner Psychologist (Health & Care Professions Council).
